Each barrel Single Barrel Cellar selects is unique and provides different characteristics, for this batch they used American Oak Char #3 barrel. Their Whiskey No. 5 always rests in the same brand of whiskey from the same local New England distillery with an average ageing time of 3 months. This specific aged whiskey started off as a Stout Ale which was distilled and aged for several months.
